FAQ

What is the difference between a Personal Chef and a Private Chef?

A Personal Chef is someone who has a passion for cooking and a desire to share their love of cooking with those that are too busy to get delicious and nutritious meals on the table.  Generally a Personal Chef has several clients, usually one per day, and prepares and packages multiple meals in the clients home to be enjoyed at the client's convenience.  Many Personal Chef's also offer In-Home Catering as a unique alternative to traditional catering.  A Private Chef cooks for one family, preparing all of their meals on a daily basis.

Isn't a Personal Chef expensive?

Having your own Personal Chef is more affordable then you might realize.  Consider the money you spend each month on restaurant meals, convenience meals, fast food, and spoiled groceries that you never got around to preparing.  Now factor in the time spent planning meals, shopping, cooking and cleaning and you'll soon realize that having your own Personal Chef makes sense.

How long will you be in my kitchen?

This depends on the package chosen and the complexity of the menu.  Generally you can expect that I'll be in your home somewhere between 4-8 hours.

Do I need to be home while you are there?

No, as a matter of fact most of my clients are at work while I'm cooking.  If you happen to be home on your scheduled cook day, I only ask that distractions in the kitchen be kept to a minimum so that I can focus on preparing quality meals in a safe and timely manner.

Can you accommodate special diets?

Absolutely!  With a little research and time, I can accommodate most special diet plans.
