Simply put... I Cook... and that rocks!

Cooking has been a passion for me, even when I was a child. Growing up, I have been very fortunate to have many loving family members to serve as great teachers of cooking for me. I can still remember sitting in my grandma's kitchen and watching her create great meals and lovely cakes and pies. Those smells and images are still locked in my mind.

Over the years, I have collected many recipes and cookbooks. I have always enjoyed watching any TV food show just to see what they were making that day. For the past several years, I had been fortunate enough to work in a job that sometime required me to travel to different areas. While traveling, I came across many wonderful restaurants. I quickly discovered if you complimented the Chef, they were willing to share their recipes with me. Not all were willing, but in my own kitchen with a little work and being able to remember the look and smell of the dish, I found I could create it almost exactly.

To borrow a couple of  phrases, I attend CAML University. That's Cooking All My Life University! And...the World is my oyster, let me see how many different ways I can cook it! My family loves being called my "official taste testers", and they are my best critics!
